About

“Peter and I met while sitting on the board of directors of Rock Star Supply Co., a Twin Cities-based tutoring program serving at-risk high school students.

As we became friends, we quickly realized we shared the same vision for a restaurant. Creating a sense of community and providing a venue for real “offline” interactions is incredibly important to us. And that carries through from our work with various non-profits here and in Chicago and in my work in the Twin Cities literary community. I especially admire the work Peter did in Chicago with Inspiration Kitchens – a program that works with people affected by homelessness and poverty to improve their lives and increase self-sufficiency through the provision of social services, employment training and housing.

Both Peter and I grew up working on farms. He spent summers working on Killdeer Farm in Norwich, Vermont. 1500 miles away, I was running a pretty successful sweet corn operation along with my brother and two of our cousins. So, we’re especially excited to build new and lasting relationships with farmers in this region.

With The Lynn on Bryant, our hope is to become a community hub for the residents of Lynnhurst, to serve as a conduit between farmers and diners and, above all, to provide an entertaining dining experience.

Each of the three meal periods will provide us with a different opportunity to serve our friends and neighbors. Each plate provides us an opportunity to tell another story.

Thanks for visiting our site. We look forward to seeing you soon.”
